I followed my passion of wanting to help others and made a career change from working in the corporate/private sector to practicing therapy to those seeking mental health support. In addition to private practice, I have had the privilege of working as a public servant with the County of Orange, providing mental health services to the underserved population. My experience includes treating individuals and families dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, co-occurring disorders, personality disorders, stress management, life transitions, symptoms of/changes with aging, and grief and loss among others. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and received my master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern California with a concentration in mental health with a focus on individuals, families and wellness, and military social work.
